[EN] During a taxonomic revision of the genus Veronica L. for the Flora iberica project, an attempt was made to fix the correct status of the names cited in the study area. With this aim, here we have designated lectotypes, neotypes and epitypes for 18 previously untypified names, mainly belonging to annual species, some of them widely distributed such as V. persica and V. praecox. These newly proposed types support the current use of the names concerned and therefore contribute to establishing the correct nomenclature of the genus
